Sign Expertise (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you deal with us, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
We do not offer customer accounts or online logins. Most of our work starts with a phone call or email, followed by a site visit or vehicle inspection and a quote, so we only hold the information needed for your job.
1. Information we collect
Depending on your project, we may collect:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- Your business name and the address where your signage will be installed
- Project details, such as sign type, measurements, photos of your site, artwork and plans
- Vehicle details and photos when we quote or install vehicle signage
- Billing and payment records for work we complete for you
2. How we collect it
We collect personal information directly from you when you:
- Call, email or message us about a job
- Meet with us during a site visit, measurement or vehicle inspection
- Send us a quote request through the form on our website
- Approve a quote, provide artwork or pay an invoice
Sometimes we receive details from people acting on your behalf, such as your builder, designer or property manager.
3. How we use your information
We use your personal information to:
- Respond to your enquiry and arrange a site visit or inspection
- Prepare your quote and confirm the job with you
- Design, manufacture, deliver and install your signage
- Send invoices, receive payments and keep our business records
- Follow up on warranty or after-sales support
- Tell you about our services, but only where you have agreed or the law allows. You can opt out at any time.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
4. Who we share it with
We only share your information when it is needed to complete your project or run our business, for example with:
- Installers, suppliers and contractors working on your job
- Our accountants, IT providers and website host
- Government agencies, when we are required to by law
Anyone we share information with is expected to keep it confidential and use it only for the purpose it was provided.
5. Photos of completed work
We may photograph signage we have made and installed and share those photos in our gallery and on social media. We take care not to include personal information in these photos. If you would prefer that we do not show your project, just let us know.
6. Our website
Our website uses a small number of cookies and analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. This information is collected in a general form and is not used to identify you. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Our website links to our Facebook, Instagram and YouTube pages. When you visit those platforms, their own privacy policies apply.
7. How we protect your information
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Access to customer records is limited to the people who need it for your job. When we no longer need your information, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it is wrong or out of date. Please contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
